CLAN RESPONSIBILITIES: as the head of the clan, brigid takes a lot of responsibility onto her shoulders. however, she is viewed among those in her lair as a goddess. while she does a lot for her kin, no one expects her to do any sort of physical labor, or provide for her clan mates. instead, offerings are made to her, and she is often bathed in jewels and riches. brigid takes pride in her clan, and those born in the nests she keeps a watchful eye over.

when a hatchling is born, it is her who tends to them, names them, and treats them as a mother would until they are old enough to go off on their own. occasionally, she grows fond of a hatchling, and can not stand the idea of them leaving the nest -- so sometimes, hatchlings stay with her. brigid views all in her clan as her children. par from tending to the young, she is an exceptional healer. her abilities to mend and heal her fallen children is what has labeled her a goddess in her lair.

BORN of an earth egg, brigid felt for a long time that she had no place in her clan. she didn’t know her heritage, nor why she had hatched so far from dragonhome; where she felt she belonged. as a hatchling, she was left to fend for herself - struggling even to catch enough food. she ostracized herself from her new family, spending hours by herself in the farthest corner of her clans domaine. it wasn’t until she met her future mate that she found some comfort in who and what she is.

loucetios had been digging up more space to expand their lair when she was found, and hadn’t heard until almost two weeks after she’d hatched where she came from. he sought her out -- spending hours in silence beside her simply to offer company. loucetios brought her food, trinkets, and all sorts of things to try and make her feel more welcome. finally, she began to open up to him.

he told her that they were alike. that he understood how lost and confused she felt -- being hatched from a nameless egg, with no mother or father to care for her. brigid began to understand, over time, that she was not alone. that he, and the other in her clan, cared for her. eventually, loucetios convinced her to join the others in the heart of their lair, making a place for her at his side.

her charm and ability to make practical decisions under pressure made her very popular around her new family -- but it wasn’t until she was able to show off her healing abilities that she became the leader of her clan. when their warriors returned from a hard day of battling, she was able to heal them rapidly.

in only a matter of months, she went from a young hatchling desperate to find out who she was -- to an adult dragon who embraced her unconventional heritage. along with healing, brigid took on the roll of clan mother. to ensure that no hatchling ever feels how she felt as a youngster, she takes it upon herself to love and care for every dragon that passes through her lair.
