Cait grew up in an extremely religious Light clan, and was taught proper prayer as well as the noble arts of calligraphy and candle-making. As she grew into a young adult, her candles began to take on some stranger properties. If certain aromatic herbs were added to the wax, Cait would gain access to the thoughts of any dragon who were to light the candle - for the duration of the flame. This great power came with quite a caveat: Cait loses conciousness when the candle is lit regardless of where she is or what she's doing. Due to this, she used her power sparingly and hid her special candles well.

Seashore, having seen Cait's abilities in her dreams, reached out to the young imperial with a job offer similar to Champagne's. When information is needed, Seashore uses her foresight to plant one of Cait's candles on the mark and make sure Cait is safe at the time the candle is lit.

Often described as a sweet and stunningly beautiful young lady, Cait is also a stubborn pacifist and hopelessly nosy. She loves the insight her powers give her into the secrets of others, and could probably do with a bit more respect for privacy. Her fellow apprentices mean a lot to Cait and she always makes sure to do what she can to brighten their days. She takes care in her appearance and smells of sunflowers and lemon.
