Though still young, Slipstream's memories of his parents are already fading. He knows that his mother smelled like ice, cold and barren, with a touch of fear. Father was warmer, sweat and pride and the sweet oils used to treat arms and armor.

For his first few days in Treewalker's Clan, Slipstream hardly dared to come outside. Compared to the barren icefields of his birthplace, the jungle was a riot of scent, carrying the tones of an overwhelming number of plants, beasts, and places. But once he adjusted, the tundra was an unexpected gift. His sensitive nose could pick out the rarest of herbs, or the concealed approach of enemies; all he needed was to know what he was looking for.

Slipstream takes great pride in the unique service he can offer his Clanmates. His needs are simple, as are his joys.
