 • JUNE • SUPREME ZEPHYR DANCER 
New to the clan but already a favorite, June came into being in a moment of great struggle. With the founders carried away by Brinewings's mysterious illness, the lead of the clan has been taken by the orphaned newcomers, dragons young and somewhat superficial, not yet able to take the reins of such a big and varied lair. As Redflight, helped by Maya, tentatively guides the lost and worried dragons, Aleksandr and Firestarter once again patrolling the borders of the clan's domain, and the old council of the wisest and oldest dragons disgregates. Aldibah, once a light in the dark for many in search of peace and knowledge, maybe struck by a curse, went mad when his colours started changing, and his mind changed as well, making him colder and less helpful, a lone hermit hidden somewhere in the lair. The newest Fae brought to the clan, Ceginus, and his creepy bloody bandages, gave new power to Brumus's dreams of glory, and so his illecit traffics began once again, now uncontrolled and unrestrained due to the absence of the founders. The local population of Zephyr Dancers also retired from appearing publicly, leaving the rest of the clan wondering about their fate, especially the new clan's strategist, Shine. He abruptly sent the ranger Nectar and his mate, Willow, looking for them, and Wardrum secretly followed, with the purpose of protecting them, but also of escaping her crush of the past, Barachiel, now happily mated to Katrina. The whole lair seems surrounded by a striking feeling of imminent tragedy, as even the strongest warriors of the clan stepped down from their position to deal with their own issues. Baruch and Nyx arguing about the future of their relationship, Khrynia and Atlas facing the consequences of their closeness of the past in the responsability of raising an offspring they don't know how to deal with, SunnyCoral watching over her son's agonizing body as the mysterious suffering takes him as well, while dealing with the carelessness of her long-term mate, Angelrage not being seen much anymore, retired somewhere with Phebus and Lazuli to discuss the future of their family, Ashmore so blinded by jealousy for his younger siblings and new chiefs, to not even notice his own father and mother's tragedy. Only the Seraphs still guard the clan, together with the still in training Arcturus. Very few of the ancient families haven't shattered yet, and Morgana stays strong for all of her children roaming the world, knowing that she has to be a model especially for her sons living in the clan: the young, hot-headed Oberon, and the worn adventurer Arthur with his long-seeked love, Gemini. The young Nocturne has just arrived, and has found so much despair and anger already. Her kind wasn't there to welcome her and introduce her to the traditions of her species, but he youngest of their children was, and kept her company until a warmly coloured dragon surrounded by butterflies approached her. He introduced himself as Naeghil, but didn't add anything and led her to the place of frail-winged Lylia, who welcomed her and cuddled her small body, cheering her up even in that sad moment, telling her the stories of the clan and making her hopeful for the future as well. That way she found the dragons still fighting to make the future better, the alchemist Faust seeking a cure for his friends, the splendid Tyl ready to teach her all the tricks and secrets of night flight, the resourceful Redflight who was keeping everything together with his practical thinking, and the optimist Maya, as bright as sunshine and caring like an older sister, who took her under the wing and made her understand hat she, just like all of them, was foundamental to save the clan and all its members.  |
