It is known that war dragons are out of their minds. Everyone says it. Crazy, suicidal, and the worst thing you could have in your lair. That’s what they call these dragons. Raze, however, is not a normal war dragon. He's worse.

There’s always been something wrong with him, they could tell when he was a hatchling. Where even Vex would play with or even bond with some familiars and other dragons, Raze would only kill them, the clan learning very quickly to keep him away from small, living creatures, be they familiar or hatchling. It only got worse as he matured, with him attacking and killing other dragons within the clan, or even visiting ones, eventually even turning on the other war dragons. The clan’s scientists did all they could to try and see what went wrong. What was the thing that tweaked Raze’s bran just so, but none were able to figure it out.

Eventually, he had to be locked away. Kept far away from other dragons and bound in rope and chain for fear he may break out of not restrained. He is with the same clan, because no one wished him upon anyone else. Raze became the clan’s secret, a thing very few talked about, or wanted to see or deal with, let out of his confinement for only two reasons. For war, or to produce a clutch, both situations seeing him heavily guarded and monitored. His offspring leave the clan very quickly, becoming the problems of other clans, though most don’t inherit his temperament.
