Alastor is the adoptive father of Xinxiling, the clan leader and acts as the clans deputy - however it is very possible that it's Alastor who truly rules Wind Woods Clan now. While his son is young and inexperinced, Alastor has the wits and charm to keep the clan running. He has taken his position gladly and started to get things in order after the fire - such as hiring a group of mercenaries to hunt down the culprit, Conlaodh.

Alastor is very charming and calm in personality, he knows his way with the words and is very much better speaker than Xinxiling. Obviously he loves his son, very much so, despite their differences. Xin is just glad to have his father to help him, even tough he might be a little pushy sometimes. Alastor is also very cunning, he knows that it can be needed when dealing with politics. He might not tell lies, but it's not sure if he always tells the whole truth. Don't try to lie to him though, given the fact that he is a skydancer, he will notice if you try anything of the sort.

He might have taken the clan under his rule out of pride perhaps, but he is committed to taking care of it. The better the clan thrives, it's just better for him. As a former politician in Lightweavers domain he knows how to deal with such things. And for his son he is ready to do even questionable things. Alastor is not cruel, just practical. He is still easy to get along with, even tough he may not tell you much about himself. He likes everything expensive and if you get on his good side, expect to be showered in all kinds of excotic gifts. Would hope that someone handsome would make their way to his life.
