Ametrine is a skilled and capable fighter, trained under the best warrior of the clan - Nacre. He devoted himself to his training, having finally found his passion after being mocked so much for his diva-esque behaviour by everyone, especially his brother.

His miraculous transformation from a self-absorbed and childish youth into a graceful and dangerous young warrior after several months under Nacre's training shocked the whole family - in a good way.

Ametrine has a good relationship with his brother, Shacko, full of healthy competition, jabs and puns - the textbook brotherly love. He likes both of his older sisters and is mildly terrified of both of them, although he tries to act like he is the older one.
Thanks to his familiar Veriss, a Serthis assassin he rescued (the story varies; Veriss is convinced she was the one doing the saving, very reluctantly, mind you), Ametrine has learned a great deal about the serpentine beastclan. Understanding their ways has shaped his own views as a warrior - something both his mentor and his familiar can find common ground on. Ametrine has learned to always depend on himself and not take help from others for granted; while he treasures his family, he knows that one day there may come a time when he will only have himself to rely on. And, despite his feelings on the matter, he will be ready for it. He will not let his mentor down, and he will remember what she taught him. 14546.png
Even though Trin has changed dramatically from his overly arrogant and vain younger self, some of his old habits he kept. He still takes great pride and care in his looks, only choosing the most elegant and finely crafted armour and weapons.
