Biography
✧ Owrlyn Venivr ✧ InvokatedVoyaging Female, She | Her The Healer Voice Claim - Here Comes a Thought Theme - Goodbye to a World |
"Do not patronize me."
ABOUT
Born deep within the Dragonhome, Owrlyn has always been a reclusive dragon around others. The wildclaw had an affinity for the healing arts ever since she was a little dragonet, always watching her birth clan's healer as they worked. Soon did she earn herself an apprenticeship, quietly learning diligently on how to help others without breaking her neutral front. Upon growing up and feeling the itch to travel, Owrlyn finished her teachings and left her clan without so much as a goodbye in the middle of the night. Her travels brought her to the corners of Sornith, letting her meet many a dragon that needed her help and medicines. On such journeys, the healer encountered a young Coatl left out to die in the territories of Ice. Cyeryl, as the dragonet was named, was taken under Owrlyn's wing to be raised as kin. She's never approved of her younger 'sister's' kleptomaniac tendencies, but she loved the thief just the same. Owrlyn slowly realized that her young sibling didn't like the ever moving nomadic life she currently lived as Cyeryl grew up. Thus, she wasn't too surprised when she had to let her go. Regardless, Owrlyn will always be protective of her, often having to go great lengths to get Cyeryl out of whatever trouble the thief had ended up in. Eventually did she weary of her wandering, and end up settling down in the small and slow clan of Sleepy Magics where Cyeryl was. She kept to herself in a den underneath an old fallen log, now the staple medicine den of her clan. She's since then formed a partnership with the residential herbalist Witche, teaching the shy pearlcatcher remedies from other lands and sharing knowledge and herbs with her. Presently, while getting along with her friends, she helps Cyeryl watch over Siwane and Seoine. With the recent influx of dragons, Owrlyn's had to break out of her shell more often, interacting with the apprenticed healers and guiding others in the arts without magic. She's slowly become one of the most depended upon teachers, with her careful instruction and calm demeanor. While Owrlyn doesn't particularly like being the center of attention for a bunch of squabbling youth, she's secretly more than happy to entertain them with the stories and lessons she can offer. Owrlyn's settled down into her place in her clan, enjoying the slow progression of time as she cares for and mentors aspiring healers. NOTES.................................. - Still has very bad social anxiety - works on that, while helping others - creates medicine to help mentally ill dragons - accidentally clan therapist - helps Tiburs and Ari design prosthetics - tends to hang around Auberon and Witche - Likes caring for others a lot more than she lets on - The only dragon on site with her colors |
