Marena

The Wind Golem


He's not sure at first why he left. He had been content at home, nothing wrong that he could think of.

One day he just left.

He travels, letting breezes determine his path. Looking back he always thinks of this as strange, he never leaves things to chance like this.

Finally he arrives, he knows he has by the thrumming in his chest growing still, something he himself hadn't noticed until it stopped. It's replaced with a feeling like a fresh breeze on a muggy day. Blessedly cool.

He is at Breezeholme, an eletric eyed Pearlcatcher stares him down wearily. He bows, great head dipping to the ground. Words flow from him easily, though he doesn't know where they come from. "I am here to serve the wind."

Marena is a rather serious Imperial, not overly talkative and prefers to keep to himself. He guards the lair now when Epic cannot and spends any other spare time reading through the tomes and scrolls stuffed in the lair reading room.

Marena has never seen the Windsinger, but he knows someday he will. He focuses on preparing himself for that day. Learning about the wind, and feeling it until he can believe he was born in it.

He does not like when others comment on his plague eyes.
