Lore: This clan of Skydancers originates among the pathways of the Mirrorlight Promenade. Born on the days of either the vernal or autumnal equinox, these dragons are considered omens of good fortune and a sign of the deity’s favor. It is said that their wings are marked by the hues of the light at the time of their hatching.

Many Equinox are themselves superstitious about the hours of their birth. Dawnborn are frequently seers, mystics, and leaders regarded as the shapers or interpreters of possibility. Dayborn are said to prefer occupations practiced in the full light of truth. Their number include scholars, machinists, fine artisans, and warriors. Duskborn are believed to have a special link with the close of day, auspicious guests to invite during the settling of business agreements, and preferred as priests for rituals which mark transitions into different stages of life. Other professions include entertainer, messenger, and archivist.

Whether or not these distinctions hold partly or even remotely for the group as a whole has never been proven.

One thing is certain; every dragon among them has an instinctual ability to navigate by the signs of Sornieth’s stars.
