For Sága, world always seemed too vibrant. In light, she saw numerous splashes of colour, like tiny, ever-twisting rainbows. In shadows, she saw deep swirls of blues, purples, greys and blacks that gave her headache when she stared at them for too long. She liked to keep her eyes closed, and that perplexed her parents a lot during her hatchlinghood.

But for Sága closed eyelids didn't mean lack of sight.

When she didn't focus on the outside world, she could find her smile, her peace. From cowardly sheepish dragon hiding behind her mothers wings, she transformed into level-headed, calm lady, as long as she kept her eyes closed. Then she could see clearly both the world around her and vast universe inside her mind.

Her beauty was frequently compered to her parents', but only years later she discovered power coming from apperances and reputations - so in the young age she shied from her admirers, succesfully dodging any arranged meetings with future mates. She was fascinated with the world inside her and soon begin to notice it's affect on reality.

At first, it was a dream. Quiet, calm images that she always remembered with details - and only those, not any other dreams. A maelestorm raging over calm sea - her parents will fight again. A tiny rabbit trapped between elements on a scrap of wood - it's about her.

Insights, sometimes words someone will use, faces and places, bit and pieces of path in front of her, that is dark for most, she saw more clearly.

But it wasn't until her first awake vision, that she understood her gift.

Thousands grey lights in the canopy, need a guide, need a star, need a way. Red, hot, lost. Small, bright, cold. Seeking, finding, losing. Wanting. Hurting.
She sees moths bumping into themselves in the darkness.
She sees unspoken words and blame. She sees anger, the longing.

She set out at the same day she had the vision. She didn't think much about it, just packed a few of her favourite things and flew high, letting wind cool her mind. Sága was swift as the breeze itself and kept her eyes open wide - but she didn't need them anymore to see what she wanted to.

She just knew she has to, that she's the only one who knows, and if she does nothing, something important will die. Perish. Like it never existed.

Sága fears nonexistance. She can't see that. She can't lay her eyes, both kinds, on something that isn't there. And she wants to see everything.

She landed abruptly beside a guardian and a fae, obviously in the middle of their quarrel. Fae's voice ringed with no emotion, but her tail twitched and her paws were digging the ground. The guardian was furious, growling and spiting accusations.

Her arrival brought them up short.

"They are not coming back" she said, skipping the introductions. "Two of them away, one lost foreber. They've chosen. It's their path. You musn't interfere, as your own way no longer crosses theirs. She regrets taking him. He regrets not coming along. There's no other anwser."

They went deadly silent and Sága was almost certian that they will urge her to leave - that they'll not listen, as it happened numerous times. Her mind worked... different than others, she knew that much. She knew others couldn't see both ways. But it was all right there - the emotions, past and future, swirling and twisting together. She wanted to help, to make them understand, but it was so difficult to explain with only words. She always had to wait for an event or realization to come to them naturally, so she could prove her point. It was never pleasant, the way others looked at her - so she was reluctant to help them again.

But these two... These two might be something else.

The guardian took a long, shaking breath, and a fae sat at the ground. A tiny moth climed between fingers on her paw.

At the end, they suprised her.

"She's not wrong, you know" the fae stated, completely ommiting the usual series of questions Sága often heard: Who are you, what do you want, how do you know that. Somebody finally listened.

"I know" the guardian sighed. He looked tired and old, almost defeated. He scooped the fae onto his back and then turned to her. Sága waited patiently. She knew what he's going to say, but she wanted to hear it anyway.

"I don't know who you are. I don't know why you appeared out of nowhere and gave as a solid shake. I know tough, that you just saved a clan. A small clan, but definitely a good one. Our home, our... Family, that we chose for ourselves. They count on us, Sennie."
The fae sulked a little bit, but noded after a pause.
"Let's go home" she said, patting guardian's head like he's an oversized mount.

Sága wavered, just a bit. What, was she wrong? She misinterpreted her vision? She has found her Charge, she knew - so why... Why they are leaving her?

"You too, Peacocky" the fae turned around and send her a disapproving look, like her coming along was obvious from the start. She hesitated, and the fae let out a weary sigh. "Come on. You're special, that shows. Your eyes are weird. I'd like to study that, if you agree. You know things, right? That nobody else knows? Yeah, that would be useful. I would like to know if Biorna will ever want to bash my skull again."

"It's so tiny I could do so on accident" Biorna growled at her, but not with real threat.

"It would be even nicer to know then, Bigfoot. You're still standing there, peacocky? We don't have all day, and I know our clan - they will swarm you for a few days. And if you tell them you see future you will never get sleep again. Bunch of arcana-driven madchatchlings..." she muttered under her breath.

And Sága followed them up in the air realising, that for first time in her life someone took her for what she was, not what she's supposed to be.

It was nice, for a change, to not see that coming. She is so rarely suprised.
