Biography

VLADIMIR Vladimir is one of the older and more mature figures in Yngveldr. He is quiet, serious, stern and sometimes grouchy and moody in the mornings. Because of his nature, he sometimes scares other dragons, he never means it, it's just the way he is. When he isn't in a moody grouch, he is a kind, polite, well spoken and well mannered dragon who is very knowledgeable in his chosen craft of herbalism and potion making. Vladimir started off his interest when he was but a hatchling himself. His grandfather was the lair's previous herbalist and potion maker and taught Vladimir everything he knows about herbs such as where they grow, how to grow them, what their properties are and what potions they are used in. He also taught him every potion he knew, their properties and how to brew them. Before his grandfather passed, he gifted the young Vladimir his herbalist's tome containing every single piece of knowledge he ever learnt. Even now, Vladimir still has this tome and occasionally refers to it for help. Vladimir finds comfort as well as someone to discuss their crafts in Aralis. While it took her some time to feel comfortable around the others in Vitserk, the two had similar interests and got on well together almost from the start. While Vladimir has a more serious nature than his younger favourite, the two can be often seen together, helping each other on their jobs in any way the can, always laughing with ease. As she works at night doing the night watch, Vladimir will enjoy her company at dusk, when the sun is setting and he can offer her a cup of tea, either on her den or his. While the thought of becoming a couple did cross his mind at some point, he has since understood that both of them are independent creatures of routine and understand that Aralis prefers to not have an official mate for now and go on her own, so both enjoy each other's company at their own pace and leisure. |
