The best word to describe Natalis is "enthusiastic". Though not the youngest dragon in Terrepaix, as he is even older than his mate Shona, Natalis certainly acts like the wide-eyed hatchling he is at heart. He dreams of becoming a full-fledged alchemist, but he's still a little too wild. He's got the creativity, the spark of inventiveness necessary, but he has little patience. He's almost completely unwilling to sit next to a bubbling cauldron, keeping an eye on whatever is brewing. Instead, Terrepaix's resident alchemists gave Natalis the job of rounding up the important materials needed for brews. He spends most of his time ferrying jars of ooze, sludge, goo and whatever else is needed. He also chases down the unruly familiars that don't want to lend their magical essence to the brew, acting as their caretaker and warden. Due to being so active, he doesn't get to spend much time with Shona, but he treasures the minutes he does share with his mate, and hopes someday in the future, when and if Shona is ready, they can have hatchlings together, biologically or through adoption.
