Story

Molograk is covered in thick tempered armour forged by the great smith Al'grok from deep within the Great Furnace. Underneath the armour is layered with hardened leather and above he is covered with trinkets that he has found on the battlefield. Bone spikes also protrude from his armour that had been placed and weaved by a master crafts-dragon that he saved from raiding beastman.

A huge cleaver hangs by his side dented and misshaped by use but kept sharper than an eagles eye, he claimed the sword as his own when he killed the previous owner, a southern beastclan king.
In battle Molograk is always seen carrying a huge black banner with his Mercenaries symbol on it.

In short Molograk is not someone you would want to mess with.

No-one knows who Molograks parents were or how he was born. A small group of bandits found him as a hatchling dragon lost on the outskirts of a dark forest with a fortress of thick brambles and thorns underneath. They were to leave the hatchling for dead for their fear that it had some connection to the dark forest which had seemed to have spat him forth. However as they all left the Leader of the group stopped - an old imperial dragon covered in scars and a huge grey mane looked down at the dragon into his mysterious deep red eyes and then up into the distance of the forest were a dark tower shimmered in and out of sight and finally dissapeared into a shroud of thick mist. Confused and unsettled he picked the hatchling up and for the better or worse flew off.

Molograk was brought up within the bandit group as a family to hold onto. At a early age he picked up a discarded rusty sword and eagerly helped to raid and ransack to the approval of the Leader. He grew up next to his best friend Guts by his side training and playing with their swords and the ever present Leader of the group watching and teaching both of the young dragons the skills of the trade, both of sword and diplomacy.

As they grew older Molograk and Guts travelled with the group all around Sornieth and their views slowly changed as they aged and saw the world through new eyes. Molograk turned dark and forbidding while Guts turned inwards and in this turned to a great sorrow. The philosophy of the bandit's started weighing heavier on their shoulders as younger dragons joined that were even more cruel and bloodthirsty changing the feeling of a family to a vicious beast. With the Leader of the group preoccupied with a mysterious en-devour which he rarely left his tent for only letting witches and dark shamans enter. Without leadership the group took up much dirtier work, that involved betraying their brethren dragons and exploiting the weak with the threat of the sword. This left a disagreeable mood between Molograk and Guts

Guts started openly opinionating these views, wanting to change the easy targets of unaware dragons to harder more destructive targets, the beast clans.
"We are no better than the beasts themselves!" he argued.
The majority of the group grumbled at this idea not wanting to risk the wealth they had already attained. Molograk kept quiet afraid to disappoint the leader that was now openly supporting the search for death, so nothing changed.

A few months later during a raid on a small dragon village which the leader led a new member to the group breathed fire onto a house leading to embers blowing through the town, The fire grew rapidly until all was chaos in the dark soot of the smoke. Molograk and Guts walked through the black hell defending themselves from both the villagers and members of the bandit's blind in the moment of excitment.

"What are you looking for?" Guts asked as he saw Molograk purposely walking towards something and not looting as the leader set out to be the new rules. Molograk saw a flick of light and strode into the burning building it entered and Guts hesitantly followed him into the house.

The house was dark and the heat of the fire threatened to collapse the strong timber beams that held the house together. Determined Molograk pressed forward until he heard the sound of bending metal. Around the corner the Leader of the gang was crushing a lock on a black box, his powerful claws raking into the metal until it shattered, he then gently opened the box which to Molograks ears let out a dark whisper. He noticed a small old dragon with a sword sticking out of his belly cough in the corner. Molograk looked back at Guts which had a look of disgust on his face. Molograk walked forward drawing his sword and without thinking slipped it between the Leaders armour lancing straight into his heart. "You would kill the innocent for a trinket?" Molograk hissed as he pulled his sword from the leaders body letting his life-force flow out. In answer the old imperial let out a gasp of some words that could not be stringed together in his dying breath and fell back. Molograk bent down and picked the small black jewel from his open hands.

As Molograk walked back to the door he looked into Gut's eyes of horror and disbelief. "This is what you wanted, Isn't it?" Gut's face hardened and he hid the fear in his eyes as he nodded and followed Molograk out of the building as the old wooden beams crumpled and collapsed upon themselves leaving the house nothing but a smoldering rubble.
Guts and Molograk found some of their most trusties companions that fought under them and signaled they were to leave. Molograk flew at the head of the small group leaving the disastrous raid behind were the young dragons still ran around in a fiery blood fever.
