Republic

An Imperial of few words. Republic came to the clan after losing his family and home to the Shade, where he very quickly asserted himself. Co founder with Opera, he runs the guard and defense of the clan, refusing to let his new home fall in the same way his birth home did.

At first rather cold to outsiders, he has allowed himself to warm up to outsiders slightly, if only to make diplomatic negotiations possible. Harm his new family, or make their lives difficult, and he will turn on you.

After giving his first familiar to his newest recruit to guard the vanguard, Republic has taken ahold of a Nightmare found on many many foraging trips. The creature is surprisingly sweet to him, for reasons he suspects due to his past.

He can be a bit of a bigot towards arcane dragons, and especially their leader, the Arcanist. This is due to the resurgence of the Shade. He does need a firm smack upside the head from Opera or Hisui when her has his moments.

With all this in mind, he is very close to young Luna. The Imperial being around the same age his children would have been, and very much so reminds him of his youngest daughter.
