s t o r y

A dark, icy world that used to be full of life and greed, you see, even the gods are affected by boredom. Long ago he had the hearts of his creation, loved and worshiped daily, but they grew accustomed to the change of seasons. Instead, his actions were expected of him. Where’s the fun in that? And so, Rapture brought them to ruins.

Like his namesake, he relished in the storm he was creating. His thunderous scream tore at the seams of the world and created fissures that swallowed towns whole. Ash plumed from them, carrying faint screams and that sickly sweet scent across the sky. What was left was engulfed in his flame, leaving only debris and gore in his wake.

What a fitting end for those ungrateful fools. He would now be able to start anew and create them again in his image. Finally, that boredom was cured, at no cost to him though, of course. Hopefully they don’t make the same mistake this time...
