  In Sornieth, Magic is a largely untapped and endless source of energy. Even with the amount of magic users in the world, the Warp - the place where magic and souls exist, a place in limbo - will overflow, pouring the excess into items. Sometimes these items are swords, or certain pieces of clothing or trinkets. Rarely, however, they manifest as dragon eggs.

Elora and Valindra are two examples of an overflow of magic spilling from the Warp. Born of two eggs in two clans with two very different deity alignments, one would never expect them to be fraternal siblings. Rather, they may very well not be siblings, and they share no relations to any other being on Sornieth. After hatching, and without a word to the clan of their birth, each began walking towards the other. Like in a trance, they both walked with purpose, unphased by the terrain they crossed.

Their meeting in Plague was cut short, however, as they met in clan Sunskull territory. After being assessed (the two stood before one another, and refused to be moved), and deemed not a threat, they were left to stand as living statues.
