Maddox

Somewhat involved with the dark arts, Maddox is often seen trying and often failing his attempts at spell craft, something he learnt from his late guardian. Though without her in his life he struggles to remember each aspect of what he learnt, since after all he was never directly taught, often cluelessly bumbling around. Despite this he also holds interest in nature, and the forestry that surrounds the small town he resides in.

His history is complicated, being a lost soul resurrected unwillingly into the marble statue of a dragon that stood once proud outside of a pristine manor. He often held a grudge towards his creator, after all his existence was unwanted and disrupted his afterlife, often leaving him frustrated at least in the early period of his rebirth towards the woman that forced him back to life. During this period, he would reside within her cabin, but often spent nights being used as a steed to transport the woman, often he would watch from afar as she partook in witch craft, thus inspiring his own interest in the matter. Though he was often frustrated by the lack of compassion the witch presented towards him, often treating him more as an object then a living creature, this later concluding in the incident that brought to her demise. Following this he would flee the scene ending up in the small village he would later call home, camping upon the outskirts where he would soon meet a new friend...

His hands often are smudged with smoke, or burnt from mishaps in his experimentations, after all never being formally trained lead him to be quiet clumsy and uncertain in regards to the arts of magic, and would learn primarily through practice, often spending the nights hunting for herbs and specimens for his tests. His entire body is veined with golden streaks, being a resemblance of the time where he was once a statue.

He enjoys flowy clothing, often seen only sporting a loose cape and his satchel though for formal occasions he may dawn his button up shirt, the origins of which he never actually exposed, perhaps he made it himself. He has a sort of fascination with water, it's the only thing he actually consumes, he is also somewhat curious in finding out who he was in his former life, as there is many things that confuse him about the life he once lead, as his former memories long left him, thus leading him to scurry through books in the library to find any ties or names he may recognise.
