Wherever there is light, darkness follows.

A terrible, spoilt Shade speaker who took Hyukkwon as his prisoner after the desperate Skydancer had summoned him in a failed attempt to control his unstable Light abilities, they're now husbands, and Jaehyun spends his time jumping from shadow to shadow in order to avoid responsibilities. He's very, very small for a creature who speaks to and harnesses the Shade as if it was borne of him, and his enormous power is only quelled by the fact that he doesn't care enough to utilise them and destroy worlds. Plus, that gets him on Hyukkwon's bad side, and he would hate that. He is as fluid as the Shade is, able to mimic and present an amiable personality no matter what form he takes, and is seemingly uncorrupted by its presence. In fact, Jaehyun seems almost constantly in control of his Shade, perhaps due to his godborn status: but perhaps it hints to something much deeper...something that only someone as shameless as Hyukkwon could possibly attract.

He's cripplingly phobic of cardboard boxes and is convinced they stifle his powers- Hyukkwon put a box around and wrote 'Gay Baby Jail' in Sharpie specially for him. As unorthodox as it is to contain a Shade speaker as it is, it is surprisingly effective in keeping Jaehyun's powers in check.
