F L A S H The Scarlet Speedster Nocturne | Male | Superhero Intelligent / Need for Speed / Stubborn / Reckless "Gotta go fast!" Flash grew up a normal dragon named Scarlet, for his striking red scales, and living in a clan in the Lightning dominion. He worked in the dangerous Lightning farms, and he often had to dodge and avoid lightning that keeps striking the ground. But at one point, the Arcanist was experimenting with science and magic, trying to weld them together into one. But eventually, in one experiment, the collider machine he used broke, and an unknown element was spread across Sornith. When that happened, Flash noticed the explosion from far away and stopped working. At the same time, he was struck by lightning, and then the unknown element went right through him. He was knocked unconscious, and stayed like that for 9 months. When he woke up, he found out that his family had given up on him, and he was in the Observatory, under the care of the Arcanist, who found out what had happened to him, and was curious to experiment on him. While the Arcanist took tests on him, such as seeing what the element has done to him, he figured out that he could fly at superspeeds, able to break the sound barrier. The Arcanist realised that it was wearing his scales down, and so he created a magical necklace for him, which would automatically summon an invisible shield around him so he his scales would not wear down. After he was experimented on, he left and used his power to show off and for personal purposes. But soon, he realised what he could do with them, and decided to help others, and renaming himself Flash. He also befriended Il'daran, also called the Green Arrow. They occasionally team up to help defend Sornith from enemies. Flash with the speed, and Il'daran with the strategy. He eventually discovered new powers, such as using the trail of electricity behind him as a whip, with his tail, and throwing it. If he goes fast enough, he can go back in time. Overtime, Il'Daran invited him to join Clan Luna with him, and he gladly accepted, finally able to find his place, and he helps his clan with many tasks, and running errands.
