Shy + Solitary + Sensitive
A timid Nocturne who lost his family—though they might have lost him—and trusts no one but his familiar, Solstice, his very best friend.
Mais has no idea what happened to his parents; all he knows is that one day they were there, and the next they weren’t, and he was alone. As he wandered alone in Shadow territory, he saw a spot of light in the distance, and found himself drawn to it. There he found a lost Lux Spectre, who looked even more lost than he was.

The two bonded, and Mais found that the Lux Spectre was a cheerful companion, and a protective one. They formed a special type of commnunication, and Mais was sure he would never need another dragon again. Dubbing his familiar Solstice, they travelled alone together. As they wandered Shadow territory, they ran into a trio of Skydancers, who Mais thought might have been his parents. They looked the same as he, but they sadly told him they were not his family, but would be, if he chose to accompany them.

Mais has stuck with them ever since, having three parental figures who protect and comfort him as if they truly were his family. With the new dragons and Solstice, Mais has found himself more content with his situation than he could ever remember being.
