Sanlayn is one of the most brutal and unshakeable fighters in the clan. Hailing from the rotting Wastelands, she was raised to survive at all costs. It was a long and difficult journey to find her place in the world. Sanlayn has not known a life without fighting - fighting for her life, fighting for a home, and now, fighting for her clan. She is both revered and a little feared, due both to her cold demeanor and the rumors of her brutality on the battlefield.

Despite her somewhat unfortunate social status, Sanlayn is pleased with her life. She secretly enjoys the way most of the clan reacts to her simply doing what she does best, though she'd never let them get a hint of her true emotions. She loves the rush of battle, but deep inside she's often haunted by all the deaths on her claws. She finds solace in sneeking away to the clan bestiary, where she plays and bonds with the various creatures to ease her guilt. Sometimes, it only makes it worse.
