Beughiimir(Beu)

Head Law Keeper of the Clan

A previous member in the ice territories, Beughiimir was banished and cursed by the Icewarden for his unjust release of prisoners in the face of a bribe. Beughiimir's entire body is made mostly of ice, but the curse placed on him has nearly halved his life span, causing him to slowly melt over time. In deep regret over his actions, Beughiimir stumbled through Sornieth empty and void of purpose.

It was at a time where the Wispwillow Seam was young in architectural development, where the Ebony Foretress was long from being constructed and the lair simply appeared as a giant chasm. Beughiimir arrived at this chasm in his travels, for whatever reason he would refuse to elaborate to anyone, not even his close friends, Beughiimir fell into the chasm.

Luckily, as construction of the lair was in progress, several dark sheets had been placed to substitute for the soon to be constructued walkways, and Beughiimir was prevented from shattering. Since then, he has worked as a warden in the 'Seam, someday hoping to regain favour in the eyes of the Icewarden, to have his life back and be able to return home to the ice.

Emhotep - Friend

One of the very first dragons Beu met when he first arrived, Em was the one who convinced him to join in. While Em didn't know much about Beughiimir, he had gathered by Beu's ragged appearance that the ice dragon likely hadn't had some proper food for awhile. It was over dinner that Beu's decision to join the clan was made.

Giovanna - Co-worker/Adopted Daughter

A new recruit into the clan's law keeping force, Giovanna was stationed to be taught by Beu. Knowing about the sense of misplacement that Giovanna was undergoing as an ice dragon in a clan of mostly shadows, the two dragons got along very well. It was then that Beughiimir through the circulation of information learned about Giovanna and her twin's special situation, an old thought to be extinct species reawakening, which explained many of Giovanna's physical specialties. Saddened by this news, as Giovanna did not have much of a real family besides her brother, Beughiimir adopted her into his care.

Lexpellius - Co-worker/Rival

Lexpellius only met Beu after the creation of the law keeping system. Beu's cold exterior and Lex's bumbling personality immediately clashed! Awkward attempts from both sides have been made to turn their rivalry into a friendship, but from many, many failures the two have since agreed to remain rivals. But to their protests, everyone involved in the law system absolutely knows they're besties.[/soze]

Giovanni - Co-worker/Rival

Giovanni fell into the hands of Beu's Frenemy Lex for his investigation training. And ironically was adopted into Lexpellius' family. The pair of father's and adoptees soon formed into a paired rivalry. Giovanni's role in this rivalry is the taunter and aggravator, throwing smirks, winks and jabs whenever he can at his sister and her father.

Etenail - Drinking Buddy

Etenail was someone who Beu met much much later into Beu's admission into the clan. For a while the two had heard of each other's presence, but did not meet until Beu encountered her during one of her scavenging sessions. At the time the law keeping system was not yet developed, and Beu worked as a guard at the entrance of the lair. At first it was very very neutral between the two, just passerbys who lived in the same clan. But it was after a discovery that they both had a near insatiable appetite for certain drinks that the two began to meet off jobs more and more. Beu's abundance of knowledge of the outside world from his banishment proved to be just the thing the plague obsessed coatl needed to hear about, while Etenail's erratic ranting personality was found to be extremely entertaining for Beu. Over the years the two dragons had become very close friends, and it wasn't long before the two considered going into a mating relationship.
Well, they tried.
It was waayy too awkward.
They decided at the end of the day to just stay friends, and think as less of the event as possible. Knowing for certain neither of them had the willingness to raise their children, they sent the hatchlings to the Shadowmother to receive much better homes and education than the two dragons could give them.

Cresselia - Enemy

Cresselia and Beu joined almost at the same time. In this, the two shared much, much commonalities in their adjustment to their new surroundings. They depended on each other a lot of the times for help during these moments, and the two became very close as time went on.
And they would remain that way, until 4 years into their friendship.
It was Beu who first brought up the topic, and after much discussion, the two entered into a relationship.
However although they had many similarities, deep down they were very very different.
Both harbored feelings of inferiority. For Beu, his banishment by his God deeply wound him, and for Cress, her survival while the rest of her siblings were killed by pirates threw her into a sea of regret. For these reasons, Beu in fear that he would never be able to do anything right, was unable to emotionally give anything into their relationship, and Cress who hated herself for not doing enough, gave everything into the relationship.
Before long, Cress accused and despised Beu for being emotionless and selfish, while Beu countered that Cress had a fake personality. Beu believed that a dragon putting so much into something was completely unfathomable, that Cress was putting on some sort of false facade to please others. For Beu, who hated himself for falsifying information that led to many prisoners of the Icewarden being released, despised this fakeness that he presumed to be there.
Quickly enough, their relationship and friendship dissolved, and the two saw each other in lenses of loathing.

Elris - Daughter/Enemy

Elris never had much of a relationship with her father. As the only daughter they had who didn't leave for the Shadowbinder, Elris was coddled by her mother. Naturally, this meant that as Cress and Beu's relationship dissolved, Elris veered immediately into her mother's side. To this day Elris sees Beughiimir as what Cresselia saw him, a lazy selfish dragon, who hid behind a facade of niceties but revealed his true colours into their relationship.

Eytaminat - Distant Son

The brothers Eyvine and Elphal both despised their parents. It wasn't too long after nesting that the arguments erupted, arguments that droned on and on and ruined the image their brother's had. Having absolutely enough and filled with anger, Eyvine left their home in hometown one fateful day, changing his name since then. Since that excommunication, the two never came into contact, as much as Beu searches.

Elphal - Son

The brothers Eyvine and Elphal both despised their parents. In fact, it was planned that both of them would leave together. However Elphal was a much calmer hatchling than Eyvine was, and on the day of the leave, told his brother he would stay. This shocked Eyvine, and the two hatchlings argued quickly and quietly. When it was over, Eyvine had left, with the same anger to Elphal as he had had to their parent's. As Elphal grew older and wiser, he saw what his parents truly were, lonely broken dragons who went into a relationship at the worst time. Although Elphal decided to also move away when he had grown up, he is the only one of their children who frequently checks on both parents.
