little is known of sonnai's past. he brushes off any questions easily, never losing his characteristic kind smile. all that has been revealed is his migration from an allied kingdom, and the controversial, "in favor of the common people" stances he has brought to the council's table.

information.
sonnai is a kind, gentle young man with "revolutionary" ideals. he was appointed to the varyan council to appease an allied kingdom. while the clothes he wears are modest, usually simply dyed and woven, he's almost never seen without expensive brooches and clasps holding his outfit together. sonnai possesses basic control over his elemental fire, often lighting candles and warming the space around him. he is unaware that he is a sleeper agent, subconsciously programmed to seduce praeda away from the prince samiel.

now.
sonnai has taken a fondness to the prince's consort praeda, and has taken an interest in tutoring him in the magic praeda claims is lost to him. they have a connection no one seems to understand, and one samiel dislikes and distrusts.
