Coddled from birth by both his guardian and his naturally protective older brother, Remus is a dragon without much of a hard outer shell. He is overly affectionate, keen on creating and retaining friendship, and wears his heart on his sleeve. With that, however, comes a great sensitivity. Remus doesn’t do well without someone at his side and avoids conflict at any cost - even at the expense of letting a wrongdoer in the clan get away with an inappropriate action. This is where his second in command becomes valuable.

His guardian, Hannael, is almost constantly around. They both watch over the settlement that has cropped up at the base of First Peak, making sure no harm comes to the surrounding sacred area while also promoting the growth of population and trade. In most respects Remus is tasked with more responsibility than Romulus, who watches over monastery, even though Rome has a more leaderly personality. Romulus is not extremely fond of First Peak’s growing settlement.

Despite the stress of conflict and his almost too-easygoing approach to leadership, Remus puts his heart into his task. Where he lacks in sternness, the coatl makes up in compassion. Most dragons in the settlement forgive his blunders and his faults, almost admiring him for his willingness to try.
