History

— Explored Sornieth until one fateful encounter with something in the Tangled Wood
— Was taken to the Umbral Inn on the verge of death, saved by Arcade
— Sustained permanent neurological damage, must take medicine periodically
— Came and went countless times from the Inn, returning for medication
— Found Valerio after the Inn was attacked and getting separated from the clan
— Met Sul a few months after, love triangle ensued, though Sul eventually left
— Spent rest of his life exploring Sornieth with Valerio at his side

Personality

— Boa is odd
— Unfocused and easily sidetracked, but not forgetful
— Sometimes communicates with chirping, nipping, and hissing instead of words
— Reclusive, happiest when he's out in the middle of nowhere
— Likes to be 'in the now' and doesn't fret about the future
— Care-free, but gets annoyed if forced to do a task he was planning on doing later

WIP:

Every moment was a strain. In the darkness of the Tangled Wood, the moonlight was held at bay by the thick, matted growth of the canopy. A forest of many mouths, every gust that blew fueled the gnashing of barbed brambles, and it was through this blackened maw he ran.

Sword long gone and muscles alight with pain as he tore through the undergrowth, the lantern strapped to his shoulder had smashed and the thick, oily liquid ran cold down the length of his arm. Boa’s heavy breath was drowned out by the violent snapping of thorned branches that gave way as he sprinted. The wooden teeth of the Tangled Wood nipped at his scales, occasionally finding a hold and ripping down along his body, leaving his etched with lines that oozed and pulsed and stung.

In the purple-black void, blue lights zipped past Boa in his land-locked flight; the flashes of nocturnal eyes and insects. Each was a blinding relief that disappeared as quick as it came. His limbs ached for rest, his lungs burned for air, and his skin screamed for an end to the lashing; all would rejoice if only he were to see the silvered moon.
