"A God chained by a king"

Midas, the beloved. Midas, the keeper of treasure. His hoarding goals are legendary among the clan, exquisite silks pattering toward the rest of the clan. His eyes are narrow half of the time, their pupils dilated. He is often seen sniffing around the treasure he has spent years fawning over. His jingling is a sure sign something is up, and his outbursts are more quiet than anything. His wings flutter delicately, as they're mostly transparent, their overarching span most impressive in the light. His claws clack against the ground, their long nails filled to a perfected point in order to allow for the ultimate defense and offense, in order to soldier the respectability and responsibility of keeping the treasures safe.

A cup of tea sits near him at any given time; dazzling glimmers of Earl Grey and Chamomile twinkle up at him during the long hours of counting gold that is gained. He relishes his job; it offers him peace from Uma, a dragon he doesn't desire to parlay with very often. Their fights are well-known among the clan and are known to cause deep disquiet to Midas, despite his quiet demeanor. His Celestial Attendant is a close companion, gently glowing and buzzing where it is needed during the long night hours. His halo, a mark of deep delight and pride, along with his Touch Of Gold, a power allowing him to turn anything he touches to gold. With practice, he knows he'll be able to control and confront the difficulties of wielding such magnificent power.

His oddities include toying with Belp on occasion, showing a softer side toward the younger dragon. There is a deep affection in things that he does, as he knows there are things even he cannot turn to gold.
