Bismuth's apprentice. She sees through his grumpy attitude to his good heart, and loves him for it.
Mara was found wandering the Southern Icefield by Mateja, of Clan Zmaj, and adopted by her. An odd hatchling, Kusek immediately recognized her as one of the lost hatchlings of the destroyed colony ship. As a final sign of their alliance, Mateja sent her adopted daughter to live with the colony, and Bismuth and Calana sent their son Pokriven to live with Clan Zmaj. Both are quite happy in their new homes, and keep in contact with their former clanmates while staying loyal to their homes.
Traded for 16kt, 64 squirrel skulls, 99 chimera fangs, and 78 sparrow skulls. Essentially, Clan Zmaj traded my clan an orphan child for a small bag of coins and a pile of bones.
