Samantha is often found playing poker, chess, and doing mischievous things.
After one too many questionable winning hands at poker, Samantha found it prudent to relocate to the Fishspine Reef in search of a more gullible, er, tolerant clan. To her great surprise, Samantha has found herself to be the matriarch of a legacy family of dragons.
Samantha has recently been mulling over the idea of a change in looks. The clan has spotted some plague dragons nosing around and is growing uneasy for her. Samantha was unconcerned until a cloth fragment was found with a familiar odor on it. "Oh!" she exclaimed in dismay, "this is the smell that almost killed me. I must leave or they will fight the entire clan, although I am not sure why." A frank talk with Taw and Swifttalon has persuaded her to stay, albeit without her trademark (and beloved) hat and spurs.
The rest of the clan is intensely curious about her mysterious past with the unknown plague dragons, but like all tundras, Samantha is frustratingly short on details. The older and more practical dragons suspect one joke too many on an unamused plague dragon. A council of the clan elders was held to decide if harboring a fugitive was worth the potential risk to the clan. In the end, they decided to prioritize resources to change her looks as they all have come to appreciate the hard work she has done for her adopted clan. Samantha is very happy to stay with her clan and just wonders what she did to upset those plague dragons so much.
