Biography

With a name that means "fire stranger" in Greek, Pyroxene was, from an early age, a dragon who shared an equal affinity to the element of Fire as she did to her hatched element of Earth. Pyroxene is a rockhound, specializing in rare minerals that crystallize straight out of Sorneith's greatest forges - volcanoes. While she dons protective clothing for her head and neck, she has become so used to the heat of fresh magma that she can literally carry it on her as an ornament. Her claws have been enchanted with the same glowing fire of lava, to allow her to dig through even the hardest rock with her bare paws. The 'stranger' part of her name is fitting too - she'd rather be scaling an outcrop than around most other dragons!
