Klunzi was never a very talkative dragon, so when she lost her voice box she didn't really mind.

They say that actions speak louder than words, and for Klunzi, this is true. Although she has lost her ability to speak, she continues to communicate perfectly with clanmates through actions and expressions.

She takes her role as a scout seriously and is proud of her title. She patrols the vast perimeter of her home's territory many times a day to make sure that it there are no intruders from the harsh wastelands. Luckily, she does not have to do this all by herself. Under her wing is an excited and bubbly coatl, who has been taken on as an apprentice of sorts.

Mist, her apprentice, is a ray of sunshine in this hellhole of a clan that they live in. It's a wonder to Klunzi how he wasn't banished or killed when their new leader came to be, but she didn't complain about it. She offered to teach the dragon in hopes that it would make him more useful in the eyes of Seth..and, admittedly, herself. He has potential that shouldn't go wasted. She teaches Mist useful tactics in stealth when he's not out delivering messages, which would do him some good considering how clumsy he is.

Cinnabar is her mate. They have known each other for many years, sticking side by side through everything that has been thrown at them so far. While Klunzi may move from clan to clan frequently, the one dragon that she never left is Cinnabar. They used to share many words with one another, and though Klunzi is no longer capable of speech, she still enjoys listening to and interacting with her dear mate.

They met one another in a Plague clan, but it wasn't long until they decided to strike out together and find a new home. Their journey took them to the Southern Icefields, where the couple shared their history with the clan historian and learned basic fighting techniques in the Coliseum.

After spending four (winter) months with Clan Diamond Dust, they decided that it was time to head to a warmer climate. They were contacted by their former Plague Clan which, at the time, settled within the Viridian Labyrinth. Cinnabar and Klunzi were intrigued and decided to journey there together. (2/17/2015)

They were both unfamiliar with such a lush, blooming setting. Klunzi was more bothered by their new home than Cinnabar because of her Plague origins...and the fact that she was on bad terms with nature dragons didn't help. She found it strange for a group of diseased, rotting dragons to rehome in a place that stood for everything that went against their nature. It wasn't horrible here though, and Cinnabar seemed to enjoy it.

When a new leader rose, Klunzi and Cinnabar stayed while others fled. Klunzi doesn't regret her decision to stand by the vicious leader. He not only reminds her of home, but he lead them back home as well. Unlike many of her clan members, she's happy here.
