Kind and caring toward his clan mates, Jushiro is far from being anyone's choice of dragon to argue with, since he gives no reason to do so. He tends to be found relaxing within the lair or out on the shore enjoying the fresh air. His closest friend is Shunsui, whom Jushiro tends to go out on the shore with, and he holds Rukia close, much like a daughter.
Jushiro is the most likely of the clan to become ill, something many see as unfortunate, especially given his good nature toward others. Even so, he doesn't let this dampen his mood and goes about each day with an ease of mind. He likes to see others in good moods and does his best to be in one himself.
When it comes to hatchlings, he's always up for spending time with them, especially his own.
