_______While regarded as a defender of the clan, it is not the living members that Kilernos protects. Rather, she stands as a sentry of the clan's burial grounds, warding off would-be grave robbers and desecrators. Her task is of utmost importance to her, and she would sooner join those she protects than allow harm come to them. She watches over the grounds from atop her abode, a mausoleum occupied only by her. Many of her nights are spent standing guard, as she struggles to find sleep often. When she does, however, it is her Graveyard Guardian familiar that takes her place. Kilernos tends to keep to herself, a stoic and quiet dragon, though she appreciates when people come to visit her. She especially enjoys it when they bring her red and black froghoppers, which are her favorite food. Kilernos has come to know Dhariyos quite well since he is often at the cemetery, and loves to talk to him. He has been known to help her with the upkeep of the obelisks that mark the graves. Sometimes when only Kilernos, her familiar, and the dead are around in the grounds, the hollow notes of a chilling lullaby can be heard if one strains hard enough to hear it. Those departed do not seem to mind the song, and the lone sentinel does not mind sharing it with them.
