Not much is known about the Fungi House--and they like it that way. Not much can be gained through their veil of mystique however it seems Fungi dragons are creative, charismatic and inventive, in fact, Fungi House has produced more musicians, artists, and entertainers than the other three houses combined. While the other houses often enjoy the fruits of Fungi labor, it should be warned that Fungi Dragons are natural pranksters, and will trick even their most devoted fans. Trust no 'leaked' album release date, retirement announcement or literally anything declared on April Fools from a Fungi Artist, or you'll find yourself with egg on your face.

Often found in adorn in their house colors Quicksilver (for the mercurial and ever changing nature of life) and Turquoise (for absolutely no reason, and if they tell you they have a reason this is most certainly a lie) Fungi dragons are often the life of the party, and dragons who aren't called into the life of art will often find themselves in the fields related to public relations. Living by the sentiment that anything can be turned into an art, you'll find Fungi dragons among museum directors, advertisement executives and promoters.

Despite their somewhat sinister nature, they also loves parties and events. Around Sorienth you can find them hosting Holiday Celebration Hubs, organizing secret santas, and gift giving threads. Fungi House is fond of saying “Where’s there is dark and damp--we’ll turn up” and they often do, trailing raffles and games in their wake. While they seem to focus more on their own creative endeavors and personal success to get up to much evil, it should be noted that they’ve managed to prank houses so badly that it resulted in exams being cancelled.

Both Crim and Pinkerton are Fungi House Alumni.

There was a party deep in the woods. Not just any party, but one that had been whispered about in various nooks and crannies all around the Academy. A party that was hosted by mysterious House Fungi. In keeping with their reputation of being as crafty as they were creative, the (much sought after) invitation came in the form of an enchanted map. For you see, getting an invite didn't guarantee that you'd ever see this fabulous party for yourself. Those of House Fungi were born entertainers, but with their penchant for mischief, you could never be sure if they aimed to entertain their audience or themselves.

Though the visitor was delighted to find the brittle sheaf of parchment which contained the map tucked inside their bag, all they were feeling now was slight apprehension. Surely the sight of those glowing turquoise bows dangling from the branches of the trees surrounding them meant that their journey was close to its end? The visitor skirted away from a clump of suspicious looking Sage Shells, immediately finding out that those behind them had not been so lucky.

"It itches! It itches!"

Ah-ha! Feeling proud of themselves, the visitor had more reason to smile as they caught the first fluttering notes of panpipes. Pushing a tangle of vines aside, they were greeted by a cacophony of art and music. The colors of the House, Quicksilver, and Turquoise were the echoing theme, but there would be plenty of time to explore later. They had a mission.

"Have you seen Ancordia?"

The simple question garnered too many answers, with too long spent trying to decipher an interpretive mime, but finally, they managed to locate Ancordia behind the main makeshift stage.

"Oh hurry up, do; I'm not running pin the tail on the Serthis!" The Mirror rolled all four eyes in unison. With the ripple markings on her body and her crocodile colored wings, she blended in perfectly with the trees surrounding them. It was only the cool metal coloring of her underbelly which spoke of a dramatic flair. "Get it? Because they're all tail?"

The visitor did not respond and Ancordia sighed. "You're here about my statement, yes? For the Biwizard Tournament? Well, this is it, darling. Why settle on paltry words when I can show you what I can do? The food? The decorations? The music? It was a breeze. Forget Science. Forget cleverness. Forget whatever it is Animalia stands for. The tournament is a show, and I will keep you entertained!"

Deep in the woods, there was the sound of drums. The crowd hummed with anticipation and Ancordia's eyes glow merrily. "Where there is dark and damp, we'll turn up. That's a promise. Put that in the Academy Monthly."

Feeling excited, the visitor walked right into a cluster of Greenpod Blooms which were too innocent looking. The ensuing explosion left them coughing up glitter for the rest of the night. Behind them, Ancordia's laughter was melodious as it danced on the edge of teasing.

"And we always get our mark."
