Biography
Chromatic Trickster
Some joke that his name is short for "Chameleon," and they're closer to the truth than they might realize. Leon can shift his colors as he pleases, yellow one day and green the next, with black wings or maybe as blue as the sea. Patterns are a bit beyond him, but his favorite set is a creamy orange with accents of deep purple. He's been known to use the color changes to get himself out of trouble from time to time. Chasing a green fae with white wings? Good luck recognizing him, he's sapphire blue now. Only his eyes stay completely the same, magenta and sparkling with laughter. Some have suggested he uses his abilities for less savory work, but Leon would much rather use it to amuse himself and entertain others. He gets into trouble well enough without actively seeking it.
Leon sided with the rebels in the Twenty-Fourth Arcane Hunger Games, acting as messenger and supplies-runner for the rebels. He faced the Arena once before, and that was enough. He ran into trouble a few times during his second visit, but managed to survive despite the appearance of an Emperor on the fifth day. He hasn't said a word since getting back, though. Aya fears her surrogate son has come unhinged.
He's a little quieter now, more reserved, but Leon seems to have finally gone back to being his old self, startling the others and delighting the hatchlings with his color-changing and sense of humor. Everyone realized just how much they'd missed him when they heard his laughter again.
