Ask any citizen of Silverwick who they think the friendliest dragon here is, and the unanimous answer would be Buttercup. She's practically cheerful to a fault, quick with a smile, and always willing to help if one was only to ask. Her powers as a flower witch are strong, and useful in the harsh environment of the Southern Icefields. Her magic is what keeps the plants in the enchanted greenhouses growing year round, and flourishing beautifully. Buttercup is never without an abundance of cheery yellow blossoms adorning her, and their sweet fragrance is as comforting to her friends as her famous home made lemonade is.
But privately, Buttercup is not all smiles and glee. She never feels lonely, for she does have many friends, but sometimes she wishes she didn't feel the need to be so polished and perfect all the time. She is not a lady of the court, but you wouldn't know that with her perfect manners and charming demeanor. Sometimes she just wishes she could allow herself a few bitter days in her world of sweetness.
