Rosie

Rosie is the "Professor McGonnagall" of the clan. She is a highly experieced magician and well-versed in many areas of magic. Her signature spells involve knitting and weaving various charms into fabric, especially sweaters. Kaleidoscope Cavern, despite its unique brand of daily chaos, offers her a place where she can practice in peace. After all, the dragons that come to the cavern are often those that can benefit from her help the most.

Despite her warm and friendly appearance, however, she can be rather emotionally withdrawn. She also has a reputation for being incredibly strict to both students and peers alike, but dragons are quick to learn that heeding her words is almost always a good idea. She commands respect from everyone around her, and if you can earn hers, you will be acknowledged by the entire clan. She is often looked up to as a stand-in leader when Salamence and Marzipan are otherwise preoccupied.

Her first apprentice, EctoDejecto, has since grown in both age and skill to teach other students himself. He taught HoneySuckle as his first apprentice, but has since referred his pupil back to his own master, Rosie, to learn the higher levels in healing. EctoDejecto, meanwhile, has left the clan to take on other students throughout Sornieth while continuing his own studies.

Rosie, however, had already taken on Wren as a new apprentice herself in the time since EctoDejecto had learned everything from her that he could. Because of Ecto's abrupt departure, now has her hands full with a second student.

Her new pupils couldn't be more different from each other, in both disposition and magical field of choice. But Rosie is a pretty good judge of character after all these years, and she knows both Wren and Honey have good in their hearts, and more in common with each other than either of them might expect. Rosie's greatest challenge yet is not just to teach two polar opposites in the way they can learn best. She also has to help them see past their jealousy and naivete to find a common ground in their eagerness to prove themselves.

If she doesn't, people could end up getting hurt.
