.. Royale Plagueborn was born to a family who represents the dark side of the light. From a young age he displayed incredible ability in hunting, pouncing on bugs and catching all manners of critters, and worked in his home clan for some time as a librarian and hunter. Upon leaving and entering his current clan, hunting became his primary role, and he is now responsible for the organization of nighttime hunting parties.

One benefit to his light flight ancestry is that Royale is capable of seeing even in the dark, which makes him an excellent night hunter. At night the only visible part of him is his eyes, pale yellow and glowing in a way that keeps prey immobilized.

He is an intimidating dragon and his hunting ability is unrivaled, but in reality, Royale isn’t extremely violent. He is actually very much against killing other dragons, and has never so much engaged in a fight with another. It is an unusual mindset that many dragons do not entirely understand, but he stands by his beliefs.

NAMESAKE — His home clan names their young with the surname based off of their most distant female ancestor. With a plague dragoness as his own, Royale inherited the surname 'Plagueborn', even though he was born in the light.
