Toxic Queen of the Poison Blooded Leader of the Auvry'ar  Self-appointed leader of the sect of toxin-crafters; Micar'ra is nearly always found working on some new vicious concoction of toxins. She resides in the darkest corner of the clan's cavern home; content to spend her hours pondering over the various effects of her experiments. Solitary, the only rare exception tends to be others of her small sect, and even in those cases she only suffers their company if they have something useful to offer her in information or scavenged new substances for her to toy with. Most of her communication with those around her comes in the form of messages relayed by her second in command; Bel’Ryn. Neither cruel nor compassionate; her mind has long ago grown dead and empty to most of the empathy or anger others feel and left behind is only sharp intellect and indifference towards those around her. |

Speculation abounds as to where the strange mistress of poison hails from, as most in the clan currently cannot guess; she has been there longer than many and the whispers circulate constantly over just what manner of creature she was before the toxic sludge she surrounds herself with burned away her sense of connection to the world. The opinion among the oldest in the clan is the simplest story and the truth; she came to them when plague destroyed her home and carried with her the anger of the loss. That loss she now pours into the study of disease and ruin; a fixation that shifted into fascination with the toxic substances that provide both pain and distance from the world around her. She says nothing on the matter of the past, or most matters really; rarely speaking beyond muttering to herself and the occasional order barked at one of her followers. No doubt their leader, a rank she earned the way all of the House of Auvry'ar reach any rank of importance; exposure to the worst sort of toxins. She is immune to many of the substances that would destroy others, her blood like spider venom; a mark of high regard among her sect. Something of a living horror story in the clan; one the youngest are careful to tread lightly around for fear of earning her wrath. They all speak quietly of the rumor that the skull adorning her face hides away the gruesome end results of her playing with those acidic substances with nothing but marred flesh and raw bone resides under that mask. The truth is less horrific; she simply allows the rumors to continue and uses them to keep others at bay so that she can have her peace and quiet to continue on with her work. |
