Biography

Azoun, also known as the golden warrior or gene master, not only is well versed in combat but also helps dragons change their appearance be it clothing and accessories or genes and skins. His real passion are genes. (You thought he was just some brute soldier didn't you?) He's just and stern but more compassionate than anyone. He has also taken on a hobby: to keep track of all gene, scatter and breedscrolls used in this lair. Xali keeps the lair's wishlist but can't find time to help getting those things. Like Xali, Azoun wears a piece of golden filigree armor, a mark of high status.

Azoun was lucky enough to be born with his charge: the lair. He never had the urge of search and it did give him quite the existential crisis. He got over it in time but to this day he feels as if he has failed as guardian, not because he has lost his charge, but because he never had to search for it: it was given to him. He is proud of his big charge even if the lair isn't doing too well in comparison to many others.

Sythlar, Azouns father was the biggest guardian the lair has ever hosted. He was strong but complitely lacked the skill for battling. Most of the time his mere presence was enough to scare animals, beastclans and rogue dragons away.

(6.6.2019) After a long silence Hagoer re-appeared to the lair. There had been rumors how he was mourning over Navir. The hatchling was always with him - strange little one - and out of the blue left with a group of Heathen Home's own offspring to roads unknown. Now he had summoned all those who donned gold filigree armor to leaders' quarters for a meeting. Pye, Siarl and Atarangi were summoned too.
In the meeting Hagoer announced few drastic changes in how the lair was managed. A new title was given to Pye. She was raised from general to head of security and given a chestplate in recognition. She would from now on oversee the coliseum team, the prison, law-enforcing, the fighters of the lair and the border guards. She would need to work together with Tule, Norkul, Iora and Yamanu especially. Atarangi was given a tail guard, as Hagoer surmised a helmet might be too intimidating for someone who works with hatchlings. Xali's title was changed to treasurer and her armor was changed from tail-piece to gauntlets. Siarl was given a helmet and he was named shaman, from now on he would oversee the mages, healers, priests, witches and victims of acts of magic and such in check. Azoun's filigree armor was taken, but he was free to still act as a warrior and keep his hobby, granting the residents' wishes and works closely with Xali. Other's titles and roles changed hardly at all, although they would all now works as a jury: The Golden circle (a name Hagoer announced could be chnaged should a better one arise)
Azoun was disappointed that his title - which wasn't even a title justa piece of armor - was taken. He felt useless and replaceable. Everyone got new titles or kept theirs, but he was revoked of it... It felt unfair, and he felt immature for feeling that way - a little piece of metal was taken and he was upset about it like a hatchling of his favorite toy! Well time heals all wounds... eventually...

(11.6.2019) Rumors of monstrous dragons emerging from Southern Icefields had spread like wildfire. They were called Gaolers and they spread fast. Rumors had it that they were not friendly either. They were hunting shade touched beings with their keen senses. While others feared these rumors, Azoun was captivated by them - he wanted to be a Gaoler. With all those abilities, he would become an asset for his lair! He came forth with his desire, but the Golden circle - and the whole lair - was against it. Who knew what would happen if he sought after those scrolls, it could be dangerous! Azoun was almost talked out of it, when Erhe turned the tables. With her stubbornness and some good and sharp points she announced that she too would change.
