Lalor was found when Avis was out exploring and met his birthclan, she saw he was one of the hatclings that was up for adoption, and decided to bring the nocturne home. After paying the asked for sum and returning to the Southern Icefields, he was later found by one of the hatchling caretakers playing with strange things, they looked like shadows from different animals and beastclan members had been taken from their owners, and were afraid of the caretaker at first before Lalor reassured them. these strange beings have been dubbed "Silhouettes" by the rest of the clan, and are viewed as Shadow magic that the wind dragon inherited somehow, Avis theorizes that he is Shadow Touched in the same way she is Arcane Touched. The Silhouettes have been shown to be harmless, and follow their summoner around like pups follow their mother, and only appear if the lighting allows them to take form.
