Morwenna, despite not being the official leader of the Clan, takes on most of the duties her husband, Prospero, neglects.
She's incredibly skilled in the arts of conjuring and necromancy, and used those skills to great advantage when the Clan was still young and in need of numbers and protection, to summon Undertow from the depths of the ocean and bind his soul to hers.
She uses her powers less these days with the clan being up to self sustaining numbers.

Morwenna may be Prospero's Queen, but she is not adverse to being romantically involved with, and producing dragonets with other dragons she has summoned or returned from the dead.

It isn't clear whether Prospero is aware of this or not.

Upon the discovery of the Ancient Gaolers, Morwenna, blind to potential consequences... transformed herself from her original, scaly Ridgeback form, in to one of the colossal furry giants.
