“Only after death can we truly understand what it means to die.”
There are many competing myths on death and the underworld; while some believe in Hel, others believe in Supay, a god of death and the ruler of both Ukhu Pacha and a race of demons. There are far fewer epics and legends about Supay, but yet his image and name still evoke hushed tones and reverent looks; many consider him to be an alternative death – and perhaps a “better” one.
The dragon Supay had hatched in the Scarred Wasteland, where disease and decay were the norm and savagery reigned over the land. He had been given a name by the Plague elders that raised him, but he discarded the name once he reached adulthood, sentencing every dragon that dared to call him anything other than Supay to a much dreaded death. Rapidly becoming the terror of the land, Supay decided to seek life elsewhere, and soon reached the Tangled Wood.
Although Supay has killed numerous dragons in his homeland, he did not appear outwardly or irrationally murderous to Athena, and the Queen thus allowed him to stay, albeit forcing him to live on the edge of her clan and not commit any more morally despicable acts. He retreated into the darkness, taking advantage of the peace to discover who he believed he was always meant to be. He collected skulls and enchanted remains, meditated, experimented, read, and eventually discovered a love for dark humor as well as playing high stakes games.
Making deals and playing games meant that Supay had no choice but to socialize; he built himself an enigmatic image, and while most enjoyed playing and dealing with him, they were also often afraid of him. Supay promised to be an everlasting rival, someone skilled both in raw power and manipulation; he soon became both famous and wealthy, and now only receives and deals with but the most elite of dragons.
Few know how Supay managed to make an acquaintance – and then more than an acquaintance – of Hel, but dragons agree that Hel must have found something in him impressive, for she readily acknowledges his presence and seems to enjoy it while it’s difficult for everyone else to even get her to look at them. Rumour has it that they’re dabbling in some deathly art together, but there’s no evidence, and most would prefer to stay on Supay and Hel’s good side instead of trying to find out exactly what they are up to. In any case, Athena has not yet publically spoken out against the two’s relationship, and Supay has promised that he’s not creating a new race of demonic dragons (yet) along with Hel.
Even though most dragons know Supay only for his skill in dealing and games, those learned in the arcane arts understand that he is no less powerful than Athena or Hel herself; if he is ever to join forces with Hel to rain down destruction upon Sornieth, few, if any, in the Tangled Wood would likely survive.

Hel
Mate
No one really knows much of anything about their partnership. When asked Supay always replies that they talk of death, and Hel never answers at all.
