Henosis

Henosis is the new clan leader. She despises the title "beldam" and doesn't refer to herself as such. She's fine with being called just Henosis. No nicknames, please. She gets cold rather often and is never seen without her scarf or the magic candles her mother conjured for her.

Henosis has, so far, lived a sheltered life: she was offered the position as Beldam from Phrixus and Helle, who she believes are her aunts. Her parents never explained the clan's history with Regalia or Benedictus, nor the tension between Caroigne and Swooce, but she can tell there's something strange going on with "her" new clan.

Though she has spent hours studying light magic, Henosis is not as skilled as her parents had hoped she'd be. She aced tests and studies, and has an incredible knack for memorizing facts, but she's not able to actually perform spells. Even her familiar is perpetually wary of her, and the clan quietly questions her actual ability.

Henosis can never take a break. She's on the constant lookout for any signs of Carinae, or any suspicious behavior from Terror, Honwou, or Dromios (especially the latter). Though Velorum tries to comfort her mother, even she knows that this dragon, riddled with anxiety, can't easily be calmed.
Henosis has a terrible fear of losing things, so imagine her reaction when Carinae suddenly disappeared. Her youngest and only son had upped in the night and vanished - of course, her anxious tendencies spiraled out of control.

Though Aspidiske is the father of her hatchlings, the two aren't particularly involved anymore, though he will check on her occasionally to see if she's okay. He brings her a variety of goodies in hopes that she'll feel better. Her favorite gift is lavender.

When she's not micromanaging everyone in the clan or searching for Carinae, Henosis partakes in several calming activities, including writing the occasional poem, sunbathing, and helping Synnove and Sinatra in the clan garden.

After the sudden disappearance of her son, Carinae, Henosis was quick to blame Caroigne, who, for once, had nothing to do with a random disappearance. She has no clue who was responsible for her missing son. She wears his scarf in his memory, hoping to one day return it to him. Her daughter, Velorum, keeps watch over the clan while her mother searches for her youngest.
