Being born in the vast landscape of the Lightning Flight, Koathaen, took great duty to learning a trade of production. The productivity of the Lightning Flight drove him in a search of self-discovery that suited his gentle spirit as well as obtaining a useful trade that would benefit at least a few others. Koathaen was close to his mother, learning much about her liking of silks and delicate fabrics which inevitably inspired him to begin tailoring with the most fragile of fabrics. It was a profession many others had mastered but the difficulty of the genre of fabrics Koathaen had attempted to master caused obstacles the entire way into adulthood.
Years of tailoring with cloth and silks, felts and fur made Koathaen's delicate touch grow into a special ability unique to him; and within a few years he had finally mastered the most difficult aspects of tailoring with silks and other delicate fabrics. His skills got to the point where dragons and Beast Clans from all over flocked to his little shop to purchase rare dresses, cloaks and various other accessories. Koathaen had even discovered a new chain of gowns and dresses which had become a popular fashion choice, having his name embedded on each piece of the fine Sylvan clothing line.
