One of two children claiming to hail from another world. When disaster struck their homeland, they were forced to travel far away under the words of their parents. Following the worships of her homeland, Kana soon became a priestess at the local temple where she and her twin landed. Despite the dark nature of her practice, the girl always seemed to have a smile to her face. While her brother watched the soldiers train in their castle home, Kana was busy working away in the temples outside. She enjoyed seeing the different dragons that came to pray, what sorts of things people believed and watching the shrine dancers praise their various deities. It was quickly decided that she also wished to have a life as such, spending as much time there as possible. However, the war that soon fell upon her home left her and her brother no chance but to escape as fast as they could. Despite being the younger sibling, she seemed to have more of a handle on the world. She knew the fate of their parents was likely grim, but she would never dare to tell her brother. The twins landed somewhere they'd never seen before, taking shelter in a town that seemed known for their massive shrines and ninja ways. Kana took up the art of the Priestess, happily working away even as her work seemed to intertwine into dark places. The Shade, as she soon learnt it was called, leaked into her place of worship, tainting rituals and people alike. However, young Kana seemed to have some sort of immunity to the Shade. Perhaps it was her sense of realism, or maybe just her childish and bubbly attitude, but the Shade could find nothing to grasp to beyond the scales of her back. When this was found out, the priests in her temple sent her off to become a missionary to the people and an example that dragons can become immune to the Shade by divine prayer. Even though her worshipping practices scared people, Kana continued to faithfully spread her knowledge of the Shade and its church. It is said she found her place at CelticDragons' clane, helping to exorcise the Shade from others. |
