Biography
Hot boi, Deadly Soft boi
The visions are overwhelming, at first.
They come too fast, too strong, too vivid and too real.
And Isami can't keep up.
He was just a child when they started. Now, fully grown and out in the world for real this time, the issue is only a fraction of what it was, even if it is still draining, and still a cause of great pain, and sometimes, a loss of control.
He sings, sometimes. Weaving his visions into stories, tales to serve as cautionary warnings, and oh, is he ever loved by the crowd when he does. Isami performs, and it's the finale, usually. He performs, and by the end of it, most are convinced he's the final act.
If only they knew the truth of it.
Isami sees too much, in too much of an intensity, still. It leaves him with migraines he regularly ignores save for when they knock him out, and drains his energy much too quickly. No amount of lying in a tub of warm or cool water halts it after the fact, but doing so makes it easier to handle as they come, and eases the burden. The water helps the visions make sense, it helps him recover from each one as they come, and it slows them down. In some cases, it can take a particularly strong one, and spread it out, make it easier to grasp than just as simple snippings of a greater whole.
It's often that someone will walk into his room to find him, to discover him in the water, having been in there for hours on end, and some panicked despite knowing his elemental affinity and secondary traits.
The only problem with staying underwater with someone to keep company is that you can't talk to the person sitting outside of the tub. And they can't talk to him, either. Nor can they come in the water, not really. Perhaps the only entertainment that comes from having a guest is pulling them into the water, or sending it splashing onto them.
And yes, he is the sort of person that would absolutely drag their significant other into the water to steal a kiss, regardless of what they were wearing and what they had with them.
Isami, while his abilities and talents paint him as an entertainer and oracle, is actually quite skilled in the ways of a fight, using his graceful movements, flexibility, and agility to avoid being harmed, while having a silver dagger - several - to do the harming if needs be. By no means is he weak, by no means could you wrestle him and win - how do you think he can dance and sing and perform as he does? You need muscles for that. He's got em. I mean, He's lived on his own for a long time.
On top of that, he's a Mage. He could fishbowl you, and you'd drown. Simple. Easy. It's not like he would actually do it, but if he had to...
* Isami is the one big reason why the Windbloom has a pool. If you can't find him, he's there. If you can't find him there, he's either performing and you missed it or he's in his tub in his room... or he's missing. But don't worry! He comes back..! ...Usually.
