Biography
Ikirouta
the exiled shaman
the exiled shaman
There aren't many dragons in the clan who go against Ikirouta's words by purpose. Wise and patient, the shaman has gone through a lot to get to this point in her life, where she revels in aiding those who are troubled and lending a listening ear to the clan's leaders when needed. The wildclaw wasn't born in the Windsinger's domain; being born and raised in the Southern Icefields, she had already worked as a shaman for some time before her exile. What went wrong, then? Being a shaman in a traditional tribe such as herself, her ears were meant for listening the spirits only - not the soft and careless whispers of her lover. As young and stupid as they were, it was only a matter of time before their forbidden romance was discovered, and the former shaman was sent away in exile, never to return. Somehow, her weary legs had brought her all the way to the windy fields, amidst the reeds when the young dragon finally felt herself losing her consciousness. Was this where she was going to die? With those thoughts she fell asleep, only to be woken up by a red colored mirror passionately arguing with the darker colored ridgeback around a campfire. The ridgeback, stern and curt and dressed in golden armor was none too kind when expressing her distrust towards the shaman; even less when she noted Ikirouta waking up again. The smaller dragon interrupted the other, introducing herself as Tulenkajo and the other as Korttolintu, and that they had found the wildclaw unconscious in their territory near a stream. Where as the armored ridgeback was very doubtful that Ikirouta had 'accidentally' wandered into their territory, the fiery mirror was immediately more compassionate and understanding, lending the shaman an ear she so desperately needed like she did nowadays to others. Finally, an invitation was given to her; would she like to come rest her achy joints to their clan in the borders of Reedcleft Ascent, and continue journey when she felt fit to do so? Ikirouta was more than happy to take this opportunity, and so it happened that the shaman managed to ensure her place in the clan - much to Korttolintu's dismay. But Ikirouta wouldn't be swayed so easily - the shaman was ready to prove every dragon in the clan that she was someone to be trusted, whatever it took. |
