As sole remaining heir to the Vinculum Clan, Bloodstorm has an upper hand on most dragons in the clan. Every fighting move was handed down to him by Fireflight herself, and his father's wisdom passed down clearly. His name not only derives from his colors, but from his skill on the battlefield.

In his youth, Bloodstorm had to fight against his brothers and sisters to earn his place as heir. He'd nearly lost his battle against Redblaze, earning him the bandages ever-present around his midsection. Despite the occasional injury, the young male is plenty healthy and escapes most skirmishes unscathed. His prized yellow bandanna was given to him by a dear friend of his.
