Found by Konahrik in an archaeological expedition under the rubble of an ancient castle, bound by runestones and chained to stone, she was brought to Infinity and Ouroboros so that the Shamans could determine if Carmilla was a threat to the clan... or an asset.

To the great disgust of Starfall, who abhors anything that might be, shall we say, paranormal, Inifinity and Ouroboros, after taking some precautions, deemed her safe enough.

So for now, she enjoys the hospitality of the clan. If she continues to behave, Konahrik and Sionna will teach her how to put her skills to good use and find safe targets for her to sate her bloodlust.

Perhaps her time underground told her a lesson after all.
